What is a DOT Test? The Department of Transportation (DOT) requires Safety Sensitive position employees to undergo a urine drug test for Preemployment, Random, Post-Accident, Reasonable Suspicion, Return to Duty, and Follow-up testing for the following categories.

Drugs that are tested for under a DOT test are:
- Cocaine
- Amphetamine
- Methamphetamine

- A Breath Alcohol Test may be required in addition to a DOT Drug Test depending on the type test requested.
